Eplan Appoints Dedicated Account Manager for Ireland to Support Growth in Electrical Design & Automation Sector
Eplan has appointed Dylan Ross as its first dedicated Account Manager for Ireland.
Dylan holds an integrated Master’s degree in Mechatronic Engineering from Dublin City University and has a strong background in both engineering and technical sales.
He credits his early career as an industrial electrical technician as having provided him with practical insights into the operational challenges faced by manufacturers and panel builders, particularly in relation to disconnected systems and outdated workflows.
His later experience in technical sales focused on helping businesses optimise their operations through CRM software and AI-based systems integration. This has shown him just how effective digital tools can be in terms of improving business outcomes.
In his new role with Eplan, Dylan will act as a technical consultant to Irish manufacturers, working closely with panel builders to help them identify inefficiencies, improve design processes, and implement more connected, digitalised workflows through the adoption of Eplan’s advanced software solutions.
He advises, “Poorly integrated systems cost businesses far more than they realise. I’ve seen it repeatedly throughout my career. Eplan offers what I believe to be the gold standard in electrical design software. I am committed to helping Irish companies implement smarter, more connected processes.”
A key focus for Dylan will also be working alongside colleagues in Rittal to deliver complete end-to-end solutions, combining Eplan’s cloud-based software platform with hardware and automation systems and bespoke solutions. These have been designed to transform business processes, from design through to delivery, improving operational efficiencies while saving time and money.
Dylan advises, “Ireland is exceptionally well positioned to embrace digital transformation within the manufacturing sector. I aim to foster long-term partnerships and position Eplan not simply as an option, but as the preferred partner for electrical design and automation in Ireland.”
The appointment marks Eplan’s ongoing investment in Ireland’s industrial and engineering sectors, reinforcing its commitment to providing localised, expert support for businesses seeking to prepare for Industry 4.0.
