PDF Comments and EPLAN
Are you still required to issue your schematics for approval by the end user? Do you still issue paper copies and await the postmans delivery of the returned schematics with the dreaded red pen comments?
With your EPLAN Electric P8 software create intellegent PDF's that have zoom and jump capabilities allowing your end user to easily follow cross referenced devices. If a comment is required, simply by using Adobe® Reader® X the information can be added directly on the PDF page. With a commented PDF file the end customer can return the PDF file to your electrical engineer via email. Once this file is imported the final comments are transfered into your EPLAN schematic project. Used in conjunction with the comments navigator, the engineer reviews the list of comments then jumps to the page where the comment is located. The embedded comments allow for a faster method of correction and reduces the possiblilty of transfered errors from choosing the wrong page.

Create intellegent PDF's from EPLAN Electric P8 Compact, Select and Professional that have configurable device pages for your electrical component. Display part numbers, descriptions even a list of where all the devices are located in your project. For the long term archiving of Electrical documentation create the PDF as Adobe®'s PDF/A format.
